Why build a harp from a kit?
Building a harp from a kit can be a great choice for a number of reasons.
- Enjoy the satisfaction of building your own instrument.
- It can be a great family bonding project.
- You can save a lot of money!
Musicmakers has been designing and selling DIY harp kits for almost 30 years. Their kits work. They provide clear, detailed instructions and the best technical support and customer service you will find. They also provide a generous one-year return policy on our kits.
Musicmakers DIY Harp kits are accessible to even novice woodworkers. The precut harp kit includes all wood parts, strings, hardware, tuning wrench, and detailed step-by-step instructions. The neck is already pre-drilled for tuning pins, and all parts are carefully pre-fitted at the factory, so it should only require about 20-30 hours to finish this kit.
You'll spend most of your time assembling the body of the harp. Use an electric sander for tapering some edges and rounding over others. An electric hand drill will be useful for installing screws and drilling string holes in the soundboard. Tje bolt together neck/pillar system makes assembling that joint a snap.
What's Included:

- All musical hardware
- Tuning Wrench
- Complete set of strings (String Chart)
